We may repeat the same actions year after year without pausing to recognize which help and which hinder our weight-loss efforts. What’s more, we often view less-helpful actions as failures, making success feel out of reach and obscuring the lessons that would make us more successful.
The Solution: In this meeting, we will learn that past experience offers a window to future success. And because Thanksgiving meals are so consistent from year to year, it’s easy to plan ahead of time. Looking at past successes gives us a cheat sheet of actions that can be repeated for Thanksgiving dinner and future holidays. Looking at past struggles helps us zero in on the adjustments that need to be made to ensure future success.
