A Second Honeymoon

The Weight-Loss Skill: Using PointsPlus™ to put power behind weight-loss efforts and New Year’s resolutions

The Challenge: Each year, we make promises that often fizzle quickly. That’s usually because we lack an action plan and the tools to follow through; we set goals that are too high and get discouraged when we don’t see swift progress.

The Solution: In this meeting, we will learn how starting the new year with a brand-new program will help us achieve even greater weight-loss success. We’ll also discuss ways to set realistic, measurable goals (Winning Outcomes) and formulate a step-by-step action plan (Storyboarding) for achieving them.

Free Fruits and (Most) Vegetables!

The Weight-Loss Skill:  Eating more 0 PointsPlus™ value fruits (in moderation) and vegetables for greater weight-loss progress.

The Challenge:  Many of us may not trust that we can eat fruit—and most vegetables—for 0 PointsPlus values and still lose weight. Others may simply not be in the habit of choosing fruit over processed foods.

The Solution: We will use this meeting to reassure ourselves that we can indeed eat fruit (to the point of satisfaction) and veggies for 0 PointsPlus values and still lose weight.

Holiday Help from PointsPlus

The Weight-Loss Skill:   Using the new Weekly PointsPlus Allowance and other Program features to stay on track

The Challenge: We’re bombarded with the message that holiday weight gain is inevitable.  When we buy in to this idea, we may use it as an excuse to delay fully embracing the new program.

The Solution: In this meeting, we will learn that it’s possible to lose or maintain our weight over the holidays and that the PointsPlus plan can help. We will explore the features of the PointsPlus plan, particularly the new weekly PointsPlus Allowance, that will help us make healthy choices and still fit in the holiday foods we love.

Understanding and Trusting PointsPlus Values

The Weight-Loss Skill:

Learning the basics of the new PointsPlus™ program

The Challenge:

Because the PointsPlus™ plan differs in many ways from the Momentum® plan, new members and longtime members alike will face a learning curve in trying to master it.

The Solution:

In this meeting, you will gain a better understanding of the PointsPlus plan by asking questions and getting answers. In fact, much of the meeting will be devoted to addressing your concerns. The goal is to both deepen your understanding of the Program and build your trust in its ability to improve weight-loss success.
